What is an F1 Aussiedoodle?

An F1 Aussiedoodle is the cross between our mini Australian Shepherd and our Klein poodle.  We have selected our dam and sire to ensure that the puppies will maintain the “mini” size when they are full grown.

F1 Aussiedoodles will be low to no shedding.

What is an F1b Aussiedoodle?

An F1b Aussiedoodle is the cross between our red merle F1 Aussiedoodle and our Klein poodle.  F1b will have a much more wavy coat and shed even less, if any than the F1.

What is a Klein/Moyen Poodle?

Moyen is the French word for the fourth size of poodle in France, but the remainder of Europe refers to them as Kleins.  This size has been standardized in Europe.  The sire for our litters is an import Klein poodle.  His size and his offspring will remain constant, unlike US moyen poodles, which often are a standard, bred to a mini to get the medium size poodle.  This makes size of offspring inconsistent. By selecting the import as the sire to our litters, we will be able to provide true minis to our customers.

Are Aussiedoodles Hypoallergenic?

No dog is hypoallergenic but Aussiedoodles are allergy friendly.  This makes them suitable for individuals who may suffer from mild to moderate pet allergies.

Are Aussiedoodles good with kids?

YES!  They make wonderful family pets.  Our puppies are raised in our home and well socialized making them extra lovable!  Aussies and poodles love their families!

Are Aussiedoodles easy to train?

Yes!  The cross between the Aussie and the poodle is said to produce the Einstein of dogs!  Very smart and trainable dogs, ready to take commands from their owners.

Can I be placed on a waiting list?

If you would like to be placed on a waiting list, your deposit will hold your place in line for the upcoming litter.  We will allow the selection to happen in the order the deposits were received.  If we do not have what you are wanting, your deposit can be transferred to the next available litter. The breeder does retain the right to have first pick of any litter should we decide to do so.

How do I make a deposit?

We are always accepting deposits or holding fees.  Deposits/holding fees are $300 and go towards the price of the puppy you have selected.  Deposits/holding fees are non-refundable, but are transferable to future litters. Methods of payment for deposits only:  Pay Pal (add 3% for transactions fee for payment of “Goods and Services”). You may also send a personal check made out to Deep Creek Mini Aussiedoodles.  Once the check clears, you will be placed on the waiting list. Indiana sales tax will be added to any puppy sold in Indiana.

Final Payments?

Final payments are due 2 weeks prior to the puppies pick up date unless other arrangements have been agreed upon.  If we have not received full payment by this time, your spot in line will be lost. Your puppy will be considered yours when we have received the deposit and final payment.  If you need delivery, all shipping fees will be due along with the remaining balance of your puppy fee. Final payments can be made by check or other agreed upon arrangements.

How can we pick up our puppy?

You are welcome to fly into Indianapolis, South Bend or Ft. Wayne International Airport and take your puppy home as a carry –on.  We can meet you at the airport.

We also have flight nanny's that we can recommend that can transport your puppy.  Fees for transport will be your responsibility.

Local families and those who wish to drive to pick up their puppy are welcome to do so on scheduled puppy pick up dates.

We can deliver your puppy to you or meet you half way.  Fee would include  time, mileage, and hotel if necessary.  We can give you a quote based on your location.

Dewclaws and Tail Docking:

We do not dock tails nor remove dewclaws.  After reading research and talking to other established breeders, we have decided to keep our puppies intact.  The dewclaw is like the dog’s thumb. It is used to climb and grip. It is also connected to other tendons. Removal could lead to arthritis.  We also do not dock the tails. They are left natural.

What if I cannot pick up my puppy at 8 weeks of age?

Puppies will be ready to go to their forever homes once they turn 8 weeks old.  We expect that the puppy will be picked up by the first Sunday following his 8 week birthday.  If this is not possible, we can keep your puppy for one additional week for a fee of $45/day.  This covers food, boarding, training and socialization .

Do you offer breeding rights?

Currently each puppy will be sold on a spay/neuter contract.   We are not offering breeding rights at this time.
